Spices are the mainly belong to and subcontinent. Zeera is one of the best spice which gives this pulao a special recipe.
- Salt to taste

- Coriander (Hara dhania) 1 tbsp
- Green Chillies 4
- Aniseed (Saunf) 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds 2 tbsp
- Water a little
- Ghee 1 cup
Fry the onions in hot oil till light golden.
Add cumin seeds, aniseed, whole coriander, green chillies, ginger, tomatoes and water in the same pan.
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Then add soaked rice to it.
Only one and a half glass of water is needed.
When the water dries up, simmer it for 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve it with cucumber, grilled chicken, shami kababs and green raita.
Chef Zakir's Tip: Soak rice in water prior to cooking and then use little water so that the rice could tenderize quickly.
