Tempura is a great dish. It is very easy to make. You can easily find the ingredients of this recipe in Pakistan.


  • Salt as required
  • Corn Flour ½ cup
  • Carrot 250 gm (sliced)
  • Baking Soda ½ tsp
  • Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Potatoes 250 gm (sliced)
  • Onion 250 gm (sliced)
  • Red Chilli Powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Gram Flour (Besan) 1 cup
  • Capsicum (Shimla Mirch) 250 gm (sliced)
  • All Spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cooking Oil for frying
  • Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Flour All purpose flour 1cup


Step 1

Cut into the slices all the vegetables.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl add the all purpose flour, gram flour, corn flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powde, all spice powder, garlic paste, oyster sauce, baking soda and salt.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients well to form a thick batter.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan, then dip the sliced vegetables into the batter and deep fry.

Step 5

They are best served immediately on a warm plate with the sauce alongside for dipping, enjoy !
