Mutanjan Kheer in Manpasand Rivayat
- Sugar 1 cup
- Rice ½ cup
- Clove (Long) 2
- Zarda Colour 1 pinch
- Milk 2 kg
- Almond 2 tablespoon
- Manpasand Banaspati 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon 1 stick
- Pistachios 2 tablespoon
- Rose Essence ½ teaspoon
- Green Cardamom 6
Heat Banaspati in a pan, add spices, rice and cook for 2 minutes.
Now add 1 ½ cups of water and cover the pan till the rice are cooked.
Mash rice well, add milk and cook till reduced to half.
Now add sugar, zarda colour, almonds and pistachios and cook more until it gets thick.
Add rose essence and the Mutanjan Kheer is ready.
