Ingredients
- Sugar 1 cup
- Semolina 1 cup
- Water 1 cup
- Cooking Oil for frying
- Flour 1 cup (whole wheat flour)
Method
Step 1
Make the dough by mixing wheat flour and water.
Step 2
Knead the dough by mixing little bit oil
Step 3
See that the must be soft.
Step 4
Keep this aside for 1/2 an hour.
Step 5
Boil 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar bring to boil,
Step 6
Add soji by continuous stirring,
Step 7
Allow the halwa to cook for about 5 min.
Step 8
Keep aside and allow to cool.
Step 9
Make small lumps of halwa out of this,
Step 10
Take thedough and make small lumps,
Step 11
Press with the palms into the thin small puri,
Step 12
Stuff the halwa into the puree,
Step 13
Cover the halwa with dough,
Step 14
Take out the remaining dough.
Step 15
Press this into a puri with the palm on thick plastic paper on foil,
Step 16
Deep fry into the oil till it turns golden color and crispy,
