Garlic Rice is great continental dish. Garlic is very digestive ingredient which gives rice a good taste.
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- White Pepper a pinch
- Rice 300 gm (boil it)
- Black Pepper to taste
- Soya Sauce 1 tbsp
- Eggs 2
- Worcestershire Sauce 2 tbsp
- Cooking Oil 1/4 cup
- Green Shallots 2
Method
Step 1
Thinly chop the green shallots and garlic.
Step 2
Put eggs in a bowl and beat them well.
Step 3
Pour ¼ cup of oil in a pan and heat it.
Step 4
Add garlic and roast it well.
Step 5
Now add eggs, green onions rice and water in the pan.
Step 6
At the end, add salt, black pepper, white pepper, soya sauce and worcestershire sauce.
Step 7
Mix it properly.
Step 8
Cook the rice until the water dries up simmer it for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 9
Put rice in a bowl, press it slightly and then pour into a plate.
Step 10
Garnish with green onion, sliced cucumber and serve it with yogurt sauce (raita).
Step 11
Chef Zakir's Tip: to reduce the pungent taste of garlic, just salt it and leave it for a while.
Step 12
Garlic Rice can also be served with Shami Kababs and Croquettes.
