A very quick and simple recipe by cooking expert Zubaida Tariq. Fish marinated in simple seasoning, coated with flour and fried.  Serving with tartar sauce gives a very unique taste to the fish (optional). Try it and you will definitely like it.


  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Tamarind (Imli) Pulp 1 tsp
  • Red Chili (Ground) 1 tsp
  • Cooking Oil as required
  • Fish Fillet 1 kg
  • Dried Mango Powder 1 tsp
  • Flour for coating


Step 1

In a mixing bowl put all the , including fish and mix well.

Step 2

Marinate the fish in the mixture for about an hour.

Step 3

Heat oil in a frying pan and coat the fish with flour, pressing gently.

Step 4

Fry these fillets until golden.

Step 5

Dish out the fish and serve it with sauces and dips of your choice.
