Egg Fried Rice – A one more great combo of fried egg and rise. can be served with Chinese gravy or stir fries.


  • Salt to taste
  • Rice 500 gm
  • Onion spring 1 cup
  • Soya Sauce 4 tbsp
  • Eggs 4-5
  • Cooking Oil 1/4 cup
  • Chicken Powder 1 tbsp
  • Food Colour a pich


Step 1

Soak rice in water for half an hour.

Step 2

Now boil the rice in salted water till cooked.

Step 3

Drain and leave aside.

Step 4

Whisk eggs with salt and a little yellow food color.

Step 5

Fry the whisked eggs till half set.

Step 6

Now scramble the half set eggs.

Step 7

Heat oil in a pan and add boiled rice, stir.

Step 8

Now add scrambled fried egg, spring onion, salt, chicken powder, soya sauce and mix well.

Step 9

Serve hot with gravy of choice.
