Lentil delicacy flavored with tomatoes, ginger, garlic and cream.

Ingredients

  • Tomato: 100 grm
  • Onion: 250 grm
  • Garlic: 5 clove
  • Green Chillies: 50 grm
  • Ginger: 50 grm
  • Urad (black daal): 200 grm
  • Red Beans: 300 grm
  • Butter: 100 grm

Method

Step 1

Soak dal and red beans over night and boil with water and salt, until the dal is soft.

Step 2

Chop the onions, Ginger (Adrak), green chilies and tomatoes.

Step 3

Fry all together in butter/ ghee until turn brown.

Step 4

Then add the boiled dal and red beans and allow simmering for 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 5

Serve hot with naan.
