Chicken roast is very popular recipe in Pakistan. Everyone loves to eat it including kids. There are lot of spices in this dish and you will definitely like it.
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- White Pepper ¼ tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon Powder ½ tsp
- Onion 1
- Lemon 2
- Black Pepper ¼ tsp
- Garlic 3 to 4 cloves
- Ginger 1 piece (medium size)
- Chicken (Wirth Skin) 1
- Shallots 1 (chop the leaves)
- Worcestershire Sauce 4 tbsp
- Cooking Oil as required
Method
Step 1
Combine worcestershire sauce, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, cinnamon powder, black pepper, white pepper and salt in a bowl.
Step 2
Prepare a mixture of all these ingredients.
Step 3
Rub this mixture by hand thoroughly inside as well as onto the chicken.
Step 4
Chop shallots, onion, a medium size piece of ginger and 4 cloves of garlic thinly, fill the chicken with this chopped stuffing.
Step 5
Now pour cup of oil to the chicken and place it in oven after wrapping in sliver foil.
Step 6
The temperature of the oven should be 180 C.
Step 7
Your Chicken Roast is ready after 40 to 45 minutes.

This is the most popular chicken of Chinese flavour.
Step 9
Garnish with lemon, cucumber and tomato and serve it with yogurt sauce (raita) or chilli.
Step 10
Chef's Tip: If the chicken is placed in fridge for half an hour before applying mixture to it, the chicken will be cooked quickly.
