Chicken Manchurian – A very easy and quick recipe of chicken manchurian. Very good recipe to serve guests. Can be cooked in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Vinegar 5 ml
  • Cumin Powder 5 gm
  • White Pepper 5 gm
  • Corn Flour 10 gm
  • Sugar 5 gm
  • Lemon 10 gm
  • Red Chilli Powder 5 gm
  • Garlic 2.5 gm
  • Ginger 2.5 gm
  • Chilli Sauce 1/2 tbsp
  • Cooking Oil 15 ml
  • Chinese salt 5 gm
  • Tomato Ketchup 500 gm rice

Method

Step 1

Take a big sauce pan and heat oil in it.

Step 2

Then add ginger-garlic and cumin in it, fry for a while.

Step 3

Now add chicken to it along with red chillies, white pepper, salt, Chinese salt and sugar.

Step 4

Cook for 2-3 minutes or till chicken changes its colour.

Step 5

Then add lemon juice, chili sauce, vinegar and tomato ketchup, let it simmer gently for a while.

Step 6

Now make corn flour paste and add in the chicken.

Step 7

Simmer gently till gravy thickens.

Step 8

Serve hot with rice
