Butter chicken is very delicious recipe. Butter gives this recipe a special taste.


  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken 300 g
  • Cumin Powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Paste 1/2 cup
  • Red Chili Ground 1 tbsp
  • Fresh Cream 1 cup
  • Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Cooking Oil as required


Step 1

Pour oil in a pan and fry ginger-garlic paste in it.

Step 2

Add chicken pieces to it and saute them until they are tender.

Step 3

Fry tomato paste, red chilli, cumin powder and butter.

Step 4

Then add cream to it.

Step 5

Cook the chicken on slow flame, until it’s done and the water driese up.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander and ginger.

Step 7

Serve with chapatti.

Step 8

Chef's tip: If you want to thicken cream, just add two or three drops of lemon juice while beating it.
