Brinjal And Tomato Bharta is a great recipe. You can eat it with chapati or rice.


  • Salt to taste
  • Tomato 3-4
  • Onion Chopped 1
  • Bringle 1/2 kg
  • Tamarind Paste (Imli) 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Garlic Clove 4-5
  • Green Chilies Chopped 6-8


Step 1

Fry green chilies, garlic cloves, brinjals and tomatoes on a low flame or bake them in the oven.

Step 2

Now remove the skin of brinjal and tomatoes and grind the tomatoes to form puree.

Step 3

Then mash green chilies, garlic and brinjals in a mixing bowl.

Step 4

Now add chopped onion, chopped coriander, tamarind paste and salt, mix well.

Step 5

Dish out and serve.
