Ingredients
- Vinegar: 1 Tablespoon
- Ketchup: 1/2 cup
- Water: 5 cups
- Lentils: 2-1/3 cups
- Molasses: 1/2 cup
- Brown Sugar: 2 Tablespoons
- Dry Mustard: 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire Sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Tomato Sauce: 16 ounces
- Minced Onions: 2 Tablespoons
- Liquid Smoke: 1/4 teaspoon
Method
Step 1
Add lentils to water, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender but whole.
Step 2
Add molasses, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, onions, and liquid smoke to the cooked lentils, stirring to combine.
Step 3
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
