Ingredients

  • Vinegar: 1 Tablespoon
  • Ketchup: 1/2 cup
  • Water: 5 cups
  • Lentils: 2-1/3 cups
  • Molasses: 1/2 cup
  • Brown Sugar: 2 Tablespoons
  • Dry Mustard: 1 teaspoon
  • Worcestershire Sauce: 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce: 16 ounces
  • Minced Onions: 2 Tablespoons
  • Liquid Smoke: 1/4 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Add lentils to water, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender but whole.

Step 2

Add molasses, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, onions, and liquid smoke to the cooked lentils, stirring to combine.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
